Recently, we took a trip to Utah to see Rachelle. Our car decided that it needed a two-day rest break, so it broke down as we were pulling into Elko, Nevada. (We'll post more about that trip a little later.)
While we were waiting for our car to get fixed, we wandered into the Perri Duncan Gallery to look at some of the wonderful Western watercolor paintings. True to form, Crystal immediately noticed the tiny baby asleep in her seat. We struck up a conversation with the artist, and Kate woke up a few minutes later. Her mother walked in, and Crystal asked if she could take a few pictures.
Well, a few pictures turned into a full-blown photo shoot. The shoot turned out to be the most exciting thing that we did the entire time we were in Elko.
Chloe, thanks very much for letting us photograph you and your daughter. Perri, thanks for joining in, and thanks for sharing your art with us.
