I am sure that most people would not be able to guess where I found this hidden treasure. On the outskirts of Chico lies a humble building filled with unwanted animals, the Butte Humane Society. Shannon spends her days serving the animals who are simply grateful that she cares enough to help them. Loving her job, Shannon helps to match loving pets with loving homes. Thanks, Shannon, for giving me a few minutes of your time and for all the work you do!
